Put on your festive gear and dash for charity!
As the nights grow long and there's a chill in the air, that can only mean one thing. It’s not long until the annual City Santa Dash!
This year’s event takes place on Saturday 30th November 2013, and our Dashers will be setting off from the Guildhall at 1.15pm and making the one-mile journey to St James Park for the Exeter City v Bury game at 3pm.
Entry to the Santa Dash costs just £17 for adults and £5 for children, and the entry price includes both a Santa suit and entry for the Dash, and ticket for the Sky Bet League 2 game against Lancashire side Bury.
Supporters that enter are also urged to do the Dash for charity. Donations will be split evenly between Exeter City’s Football in the Community charity (FITC) – who engage 50,000 adults, young people and children in Exeter and throughout Devon by delivering programmes in education, social inclusion, health and sports participation every year – and another charity of the participant’s choice.
Popular charities for our Dashers to raise money for include the Adam Stansfield Foundation, Hospiscare, Devon Air Ambulance Trust, CLIC Sargent and Help for Heroes.
For more information or to sign up, email Youth Commercial Manager David Evans on david.evans@exetercityfc.co.uk, call 07827 871 723, or call into Reception at the club.
