City host networking event for leading builders merchants in the Grecian Lounge
Exeter City Football Club again proved their credentials as a host venue for more than just football, as the UK’s leading chain of builders merchants Jewson once again held a business networking event at St James Park.
Ahead of the Grecians’ home game against Northampton Town, 20 suppliers from all over the UK set up to pitch their products to Jewson’s assembled Branch Managers. It was the second year that Jewson had used the Grecian Lounge at St James Park as the venue, and as well as doing a whole lot of business on the day, all the guests were able to stay and take in some Sky Bet League 2 action too.
Frazer Neve, Area Director for Jewson, commented: “As a firm, Jewson has a long affinity with Exeter City Football Club and we are delighted to be able to continue to support the club. The event was a great success and the self-contained Grecian Lounge is perfect for what we want to achieve. We have had a lot of great feedback from our suppliers and managers so will certainly be hosting another event next year.”
Mark Jenkins, Senior Commercial Manager at Exeter City, added: “We must be doing something right for Jewson to come back for a second year. Networking is a big part of any business and the Grecian Lounge is an ideal room to host such an event.”
