Theatre company chanting on the Big Bank
We’re delighted to welcome cast from The Day We Played Brazil – a community play that has been on at the Exeter Northcott Theatre – to perform some of their musical numbers on the Big Bank at the Swansea City friendly fixture on Tuesday. The play, written by Nick Stimson, is based around the true story of Exeter City’s tour of South America 100 years ago and the first ever fixture played by the Brazilian national team against the Grecians.
The Day We Played Brazil has earned rave reviews and glowing testimonies from theatre-goers and football fans alike – and some of the catchiest tunes will be performed on the Bank by the cast as they enjoy the game.
Be sure to join in if you hear them – chances are you know a few of the words already!
