Record-setting charity collection from away travellers
Grecian Travel, the arm of Exeter City Supporters Club which organises travel to all of the club’s away fixtures, had a record year of charitable fundraising in 2013/14.
Across the season, Grecian Travel raised a superb £1,153 for Hospiscare on their away days. The Exeter-based charity gives high-quality care and dedicated support to people who are terminally ill.
Additionally, a further £235 was raised for Devon Air Ambulance, in memory of Colin Upham.
The chosen charity for Grecian Travel for the coming season will be CLIC Sargent. As ever, Grecian Travel will be offering competitively-priced travel to every single away game for 2014/15, so be sure to consider that as an option when you’re following the Grecians around the country.
