Volunteers needed to give some TLC to the home of the Grecians
AS WE KNOW, our quirky stadium is beginning to show its age, and St James Park is now in need of a little TLC.Although club staff and our brilliant volunteers continue to work hard on our stadium, it really is a time-consuming job, and they need a little help.
So, starting next Sunday, the 9th of August, from 10.00am - 12.00am, we'll be opening the stadium to do whatever is necessary.
It might be sweeping, washing the paintwork or advertising hoardings or even repainting that pink paintwork to return it to a vibrant red we can be proud of.
We'll meet at the Grecian Centre at 10 and return there for a cup of tea or coffee when we have finished.
If you have a hour or two to spare please come along, and if you can put a broom or bucket in the car to use so much the better.
This will be a regular event, just like the litter pick after home games, so we'll soon make a difference.
This weekend we repainted the red heart on the Big Bank - a brilliant start for this project - so please join us next Sunday morning.
