City striker to see out 2015/16 at St James Park
EXETER CITY are delighted to confirm that an agreement has been reached for Clinton Morrison to remain with the club until the end of the season.Clinton first arrived at the club in November 2014, before a new agreement was reached last summer whereby he would continue at St James Park until the end of January.
A fans’ favourite throughout his career and especially during his time with the Grecians, Clinton scored a spectacular first goal for the club in October’s 3-3 draw with Stevenage, before scoring in the Emirates FA Cup First Round tie at Didcot a month later.
"All players bring something different, and Clinton certainly has done that," City manager Paul Tisdale said. "He's enjoying every minute of it, and that shows through every day in the way he comes to work. I doubt very much that he would drive down to Exeter if he didn't enjoy doing it. He hasn't been a regular starter for us, but he has played his part, and I'd like to keep the option of playing him, or bringing him off the bench, with us for the rest of the season."
