Gill Joins Truro City On Loan

Grecians youngster to link up with Steve Tully at Treyew Road

EXETER CITY YOUNGSTER Cameron Gill has signed for National League South side Truro City on a one-month loan.

The striker, originally from Newton Abbot, has been involved with the Grecians since first joining City at Under-9 level. Gill will head to Truro with the intention of gaining first-team experience and following in the footsteps of fellow City striker Jamie Reid, who scored and impressed in a loan spell at Treyew Road earlier in the current campaign.

Gill will be reunited with City team-mate Connor Riley-Lowe,who is with the White Tigers on a six-month loan. He will also be serving under a familiar face in ex-City defender Steve Tully, who is currently in charge of the sixth-tier club.

Truro currently reside in ninth position in their domestic league, and sit five points off a play-off spot. They were victorious in their last outing, beating Cirencester 1-0 to seal a place in the FA Trophy Second Round for the first time in their history.
