Striker to spend a month with the Gulls
Exeter City striker Jamie Reid has joined Vanarama Conference National side Torquay United on a youth loan. The terms of the agreement mean that the 20-year-old will be at Plainmoor for an initial 28 days. His first involvement could come this weekend, as the Gulls travel to the Racecourse Ground to take on Wrexham in the semi-final first-leg of the FA Trophy.
Reid’s loan with Weymouth came to an end following their home fixture against Redditch United on Saturday, in which he scored the Terras’ goal in a 1-1 draw. He played a total of eight games and scored three goals for the Dorset side.
Meanwhile Connor Riley-Lowe, who was also on loan with Reid at Weymouth, has returned to Exeter City.
