The prices for tickets to come and see Exeter City at St James Park next season have been announced – and Season Tickets for 2015/16 have been put on immediate sale for supporters to commit early.
The 2015/16 prices have been implemented with the ambition of making matches at St James Park accessible to as many supporters as possible, without compromising the important revenue stream which comes from ticket sales.
The pricing structure has been strongly influenced through the input of supporters. The Club ran a fans-consultation survey in recent months, which saw a terrific level of response from a broad range of supporters.
And consequently match ticket prices have been reduced in the Big Bank and the Stagecoach Family Stand, meaning Adults can come from as little as £16 on the gate at St James Park.
The Under-12 category has been removed for the upcoming campaign, but this has allowed the prices to be reduced for the Under-18/Student category. They will be able to buy match tickets for the Main Stand for just £10, down from £15 this season – meaning more supporters can watch the Grecians for less.
The 2015/16 Season Tickets have also gone on immediate sale – and as ever, supporters will be rewarded for committing early to the campaign.
Season Tickets will be available at their cheapest in ‘Super Saver’ period, which runs until Sunday 12th April 2015, and will offer a 25% reduction compared to matchday prices. They will then go on sale at the ‘Saver’ rate until Sunday 7th June 2015 (20% reduction), after which they will go to full price (15% reduction).
While the Under-12 bracket has been removed for next season, Season Ticket holders that are currently in that category will have reserved rights to continue renewing their Season Ticket at the same price until the season which they turn 12.
In addition the away supporters seated section will be moved to Block M in the Main Stand for 2015/16, meaning that home fans will occupy the area behind the players’ tunnel in the Stagecoach Stand to welcome the teams to the field.
After assessing the feedback from the supporters’ survey, the prices for Season Tickets and individual match tickets were agreed upon and ratified by the boards of Exeter City Football Club and Exeter City Supporters’ Trust.
Exeter City Interim Chairman Julian Tagg said: “The support we receive year in, year out from our Season Ticket holders is fundamental to the wellbeing of our club and every year we try hard to produce a Season Ticket package that will offer great value and be as attractive as possible to the widest number of fans.
“This season we conducted an extensive fan survey around ticket prices; we are grateful for a terrific response and wherever possible ticket prices for 2015/16 reflect the results of this survey. Most prices have been held and some have even been reduced including those for under-18 fans, who are the future of our club.”
