City youngster with York Road club for a month
EXETER CITY attacker Matt Jay has joined Hayes & Yeading United on a one-month loan.Jay, who has been a key part of the Grecians' Under-21 Premier League Cup and St. Luke's Cup squads so far this season, heads to the Conference South side to link up with Garry Haylock, who is currently combining his work as Hayes & Yeading boss with his position as a first-team coach with the Grecians.
Jay, who has previously been sent out on loan to Weston-super-Mare, has made one first-team appearance for the Grecians this term, that coming in the 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy First Round success over Portsmouth.
He goes straight into the Hayes & Yeading squad for Sunday's home match against Truro City.
