22-year-old Michaela Bright hoping for success in national contest
MICHAELA BRIGHT, Exeter’s very own contestant in the Miss Great Britain contest, visited the Club last Tuesday when we played Portsmouth in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Part of the visit saw Michaela, a 22-year-old Events Management student, mingling with fans and raising Grecian support ahead of the contest finals, which take place in Leicester across the 10th and 11th of September.
Miss Great Britain is one of the longest-running competitions of its kind, and has just recently celebrated its seventieth anniversary. There are a number of titles to be won, including 'Miss Popularity', which is decided through public voting, and 'Miss Charity', which is decided by the contestant who raises the most money for Cancer Research UK, the organiser’s chosen charity this year.
Michaela is running a 10k in Barnstaple and has organised various charity events in the build-up to the event. She has also volunteered at Cancer Research UK shops to raise awareness and funds, so she’s been hard at work!
As Michaela is representing our very own city of Exeter, she deserves our support and you can show this in the following ways:
- To vote for Michaela to win the public vote for ‘Miss Popularity’, please text MISSGB 40 to 64343 and make sure you include the space! Text votes cost £1 plus standard network rate.
- To vote by phone, please call 09075 980601, and when prompted enter 40. Phone votes cost £1.02 per call plus network rate.

Let’s support Michaela and get Exeter to the top of the Miss Great Britain league!
