Grecians manager reacts to Chairboys defeat
EXETER CITY manager Paul Tisdale said that it was a case of the visitors being more clinical with their chances after the Grecians were beaten 2-0 by Wycombe Wanderers at St James Park."I was pleased with the way we played, but I'm so disappointed that we lost," Tis said. "We didn't take our chances in the first half when we had them, and other than what led up to the second goal of the game, which was poor play, I thought we did pretty well.
"It was the same as last week at Accrington - a case of them taking their couple of chances and us not taking ours. I'm generally pleased with what we're doing and how we're playing, but we have to convert that into points. You have to believe that we've got something about us at the moment - the players have got each other's backs, and we matched a strong, physical side.
"I knew on Thursday that Ryan Harley and Jamie McAllister wouldn't be fit this weekend - we now have to judge whether they'll be ready for Tuesday.
"We've now got a big game on Tuesday, and we consider every game as a potential game to get points from. We just need to go there and back ourselves."
