Charity football match sees City fans take on Yeovil counterparts
EXETER CITY supporters will meet Yeovil Town supporters for a charity football match on Saturday morning ahead of the two sides' Sky Bet League 2 meeting at Huish Park. The Adam Stansfield Memorial Trophy, contested since the sad loss of Adam in 2010, has proved a very popular contest in recent years, with a Glovers side beating City fans 6-1 at Topsham Town ahead of the season-opener between the sides back in August.
This latest contest will take place on the top training pitch right next to Huish Park, and will kick-off at 11am. The Adam Stansfield Foundation will be present with a stall selling merchandise, and the match is also being used to raise awareness of the Know the Score prostate cancer charity, with both sets of players wearing Know the Score t-shirts during the warm-up.
Come along and support the City team as they bid to reclaim the trophy!
