Heritage Lounge opens for business

It’s wins all-round on opening night

Last week’s EFL Cup extra-time win against Championship side Brentford was not the only celebration at St James Park; the evening also saw the official opening of the brand new Heritage Lounge by Steve Perryman, Exeter City Director of Football.

In attendance were those who have already signed up for the season in the Lounge, as well as Club Partners, local businesses, and those who had made the Lounge possible from concept to execution. The Lounge was officially opened at 7pm by Steve Perryman by way of a ribbon cutting.

The Heritage lounge, sponsored by Andy Martinovic, MD of Heritage Developments and replaces Executive Boxes 5-8 in the IP Office Main Stand, offering a panoramic view of the pitch, and providing an opportunity for local businesses to network, impress their client base and work closer with the club.

The self-contained lounge offers its own bar, toilets, TVs and PA system and includes promotional opportunities, match-day hosts and speakers and superb food.

Julian Tagg, Exeter City Chairman, said: “The Lounge rebuild has come about to underpin and build upon the commercial success of the club in recent times and ensure it can be a pro-active force in the business world moving forward.”

With this superb new facility, the Club is aiming to host influential speakers at breakfast meetings as well as holding exciting new conferencing opportunities. My extended thanks go out to those who have made the lounge possible and we hope for a successful season on and off the pitch
