City’s annual food bank day at Leyton Orient match

All donations make a real difference to people’s lives in the local community

City’s annual food bank Day, organised by the Trust will be held in Red Square at St James Park prior to the home match against Leyton Orient on Monday, January 2.

On the day you can donate groceries, toiletries or cash at the Trust stall in Red Square.

All donations are greatly appreciated, but the following items are of high priority:
  • Fruit juice - 1L long-life (urgent)
  • Milk - UHT 1L semi-skimmed (urgent)
  • Cereals – small boxes
  • Sponge puddings
  • Coffee - instant
  • Meat - tins
  • Rice - 500g
  • Noodle/pasta snacks
  • Rice pudding - tins
  • Pasta sauce
If you are unable to attend the match, there is a collecting point permanently located in reception, if you have some Christmas treats you can spare the food bank would be very pleased to receive those.

Donations are regularly taken to the Exeter Food Bank storage depot and the club are always asked to pass on sincere thanks for everything you give. Between April and October this year, City fans donated a total of 167.3kg of food and sundries to the Exeter Food Bank between April and October 2016; the equivalent of 403 regular tins of beans, or 334 loaves of bread.
