Watch England v Wales at the Centre Spot Sports Bar on Thursday
ENGLAND'S RESULT in their opening Euro 2016 game on Saturday night didn't get in the way of people enjoying their time at Exeter City’s Centre Spot Sports Bar.The Centre Spot was home for many fans for England's Euro 2016 opener against Russia, with a number of those having arrived early to watch Wales' first game in an international tournament since 1958.
There was plenty of positive feedback; City fan Sharon said: “I had a great time, could've been a better result, but the pizza was very good!". Sharon was referring to the pizzas that Club sponsors Domino's delivered just before half time. The hard work of the staff throughout the evening was praised by another customer at the end of the night.
There was also plenty of good feedback on social media, with one attendee tweeting "Despite the result a great atmosphere @CentreSpotECFC. Ease the pain of #EURO2016 by supporting @OfficialECFC with each drink!", before remarking that they'd be back to fill in their loyalty card. Other comments across social media praised the atmosphere, whilst another lauded the fact that there was free wifi available. One fan even live streamed (a large) part of their experience through Facebook!
All in all, it was a great evening of European football at the park and we hope to see you all at the Centre Spot for Thursday's crunch game between England and Wales.
The offers on the day are:
- 4-pint jug of TRIBUTE - £10
- Burger and chips - £4.50
- 20% student and trust member discount on other bar purchases
