City beaten away at the Robins
THE GRECIANS travelled to Cheltenham for their third away trip in a row.The Ladies started off slowly after the long trip and found themselves 1-0 down thirty minutes into the first half. They struggled to get back into the game after that, and created very little in the final third. Due to the state of Cheltenham’s pitch, the game was played mainly in the middle of the park.
City came out stronger in the second half and created more chances, but the Cheltenham defence held strong. The home side doubled their lead midway through the second half and from there City never looked like getting back into the game. A through ball on eighty minutes led to 3-0.
