The Ultimate Quiz returns to Exeter City’s St James Park this January, and teams of five are required to compete in Norman Warne’s uniquely different and extremely popular quiz, which has now been running for over a decade.There are two preliminary qualifying heats which your team can enter on Monday 16th and Thursday 19th January 2017, both starting at 7.30pm. The top 12 teams from both nights will go forward to the main events which take place on Monday February 13th, March 13th and culminate in the final night on Monday April 10th. The entry fee is £10 per team, per night, so just £2 per person
This year, Norman and his team have ripped up the rule book and created an original and unique quiz format, with league divisions that include promotion and relegation, meaning that a team in the bottom division of the final still has the chance to win.
Questions are topical and each night will test your knowledge on a range of subjects such as current news, sport, entertainment and local knowledge. To keep contestants on their toes, Norman always includes some sort of joker-style tactic to play which makes this more than just a simple quiz and even more fun for it too.
The top prize again this year will be Flybe flight vouchers, courtesy of City’s main sponsor, Flybe who have supported the quiz since it began.
