Exeter City under-18s top of the table after win over Bristol Rovers

Success for under-18s and under-16s

Exeter City under-18s have gone back to the top of EFL Youth Alliance South West division following 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers.

City were 2-0 up at half-time but Rovers fought back to level the tie in the second half meaning that they needed an injury-time penalty to win the match.

The young Grecians side, who are two points clear at the top of the table, face Yeovil Town away this Saturday before a trip to Radstock Town in the first round of the FA Youth Cup follows on Tuesday, November 1, at 7.45pm.

Radstock have beaten Brislington, Taunton Town, Paulton Rovers and Woking in the qualifying rounds to make it to this stage of the competition.

The under-16s are also going well this season. Their last game saw them draw 5-5 away at Oxford United, which keeps Chad Gribble’s side top of the table having won five and drawn two of their seven games so far this season.
