Countdown to Devon derby: Recent Exeter City v Plymouth Argyle moments to remember

Ollie Watkins wins Devon derby with wonderous strike

No. 1: Ollie Watkins scores late on to give Exeter City victory at St James Park last season
It is not long until Exeter City's home match with Plymouth Argyle at 1pm on Saturday, September 17. There have been plenty Devon derby moments to remember in recent years and, as we count down the days to another great game at St James Park, we are going recap 10 of the best.
Ollie Watkins had been in rich goalscoring form going into the Devon derby on April 2 last season, netting four goals in six games. However, he saved his best goal of the season for Argyle, picking up a pass forward from David Noble and producing and neat flick and stepover to beat two opposing defenders before firing a shot into the top right hand corner of the goal in front of the Big Bank. The strike came in the 93rd minute of the match to win the match and keep alive City's chance of reaching the play-offs, while also denting Plymouth's automatic promotion hopes.
