Recent Exeter City v Plymouth Argyle moment to remember
No. 5 Ryan Harley scores sublime second against ArgyleIt is not long until Exeter City's home match with Plymouth Argyle at 1pm on Saturday, September 17. There have been plenty Devon derby moments to remember in recent years and, as we count down the days to another great game at St James Park, we are going recap 10 of the best.
The fifth moment in our countdown to next Saturday's Devon derby brings you the moment that created the hashtag #devonisginger in Twitter. Ryan Harley had already converted a first half penalty to put the Grecians in front when he picked up a loose ball following a forward run from Ollie Watkins.
Ryan had plenty of players to beat, but twisted one way, then the next before firing a shot low into the bottom left hand corner of the net to put City 2-0 up. The strike proved to be the winning goal and would have easily won the club's goal of the season competition had Ollie Watkins not trumped it in the the return game at St James Park in April.
