Exeter City v Notts County: Match preview

Captain Jordan Moore-Taylor suspended for tonight's match at St James Park

Exeter City will be without captain Jordan Moore-Taylor for tonight’s match with Notts County, but the rest of the players who played on Saturday will be fit for selection.

The Grecians picked up a 2-0 win at Stevenage last time out despite going down to 10 men midway through the first half when Jordan was shown a straight red card.

City’s young captain will serve a one-match ban tonight. Troy Brown, Tory Archibald-Henville, Ryan Harley, Jordan Tillson and Tom McCready are also out injured but Joel Grant and David Wheeler could return from injury and Lee Holmes and Craig Woodman also came through Saturday’s match unscathed despite having spells on the sidelines themselves this campaign.

"Other than Jordan Moore-Taylor who'll miss Tuesday night through suspension, everyone from Saturday is okay, fortunately,” said manager Paul Tisdale

"David Wheeler will hopefully be back in the reckoning – I'm not 100 per cent sure yet but he'll be the next one back into the mix."

That means manager Tis will have options from the bench this evening, something he has not really been able to call upon so far this term.

"Something we've not had this season is a full squad to choose from, which often means the bench is weakened,” said Tis.

"The likes of Lee (Holmes) returning, and hopefully David Wheeler shortly, means the bench will look a lot stronger with proven players who can change the game. That’s a plus for everybody."

The match against Notts County kicks-off at 7.45pm. Tickets are available on the gate. For more information about ticket prices click here
