Your chance to spend an evening with a five time Olympian
Exeter City's Football in the Community are hosting an evening with five time Olympian Jo Pavey on Wednesday, May 3The evening, kindly sponsored by Cartridges Law, is hosted at St James Park, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Jo will be speaking about the highs and lows of her career, followed by your chance to ask those burning questions during a Q&A session hosted by Mark Tyler.
Jo has represented Great Britain at the last four Olympic Games and ran a time of 32:22.29 to win her first major gold medal at the age of 40 – going one better than the silver medal she won two years earlier in Helsinki. She was recently awarded the 2007 World Championships 10,000m bronze medal after Turkey's Elvan Abeylegesse had her result chalked off.
On the night, Jo will also be signing copies of her book 'This Mum Runs', which follows her journey to the top, and all the lessons she has learned along the way. It is an inspiring, yet everyday story of a mum that runs, and a runner that mums.
Tickets are £12 for Adults and £10 for under-16s and can be purchased from: https://www.exetercityfitc.co.uk/courses/an-evening-with/an-evening-with-jo-pavey
