Tickets for Exeter City’s matches at St James Park during the month of September are now on sale.
The club has received high demand for seated tickets in the IP Office Stand for its first three home games of the season and we are advising supporters to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. The club is currently working on a priority ticketing system for home games from October 1 onwards and will release details of that when finalised.
City’s first match of September sees them take on Newport County on Saturday, September 2, with former Grecian Scot Bennett due to return to the Park with the Welsh outfit.
Highlights from last season's match against Crewe
Then a couple of weeks later (Saturday, September 16) the Grecians take on Crewe Alexandra at home. That match proved to be one of the games of last season at the Park with the Grecians coming away with a 4-0 victory thanks to goals from Jordan Moore-Taylor, David Wheeler (2) and Lloyd James.
Then there is a Tuesday night game on September 26 as City welcome Notts County to St James Park. County, managed by former West Ham midfielder Kevin Nolan, have some big names in their squad with former Leeds United striker Alan Smith, ex-Blackburn forward Jonathan Stead and Nigerian International Shola Ameobi on their books.
Exeter City 3 Morecambe 1: Match highlights
The final match of the month sees City take on Morecambe. Morecambe striker Kevin Ellison scored a wonder goal at St James Park last season, but it was not enough to give Jim Bentley’s team victory as a late penalty from Reuben Reid and a 95th minute strike from Liam McAlinden won the match for City.
Exeter City’s Checkatrade Trophy match with Yeovil Town, on Tuesday, August 29, is also on sale. Ticket prices for this game have been reduced, with adults priced at £10 in the Thatchers Big Bank and £12 in the IP Office Stand. Under-18s can get into the game for as little as £3.
You can purchase tickets online via the following link, by calling Exeter City on 01392 411 243 or by visiting the club shop and reception at St James Park between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday or at least three hours before kick-off and after full-time on home matchdays.
