Travel guide: Yeovil Town (Saturday, December 23, 3pm)

Exeter City travel to Huish Park on Saturday looking to build-on back-to-back home wins against Forest Green Rovers and Stevange. City are without a win on the road though since beating Carlisle United 1-0 away on October 7 and Darren Way's side are likely to provide stern oppositions having only lost three of their 16 games at home this campaign.

STADIUM: HUISH PARK (BA22 8YF)

Huish Park is the home to Yeovil Town and has been since 1990. It has a capacity of 9,565, of which two stands are all seated and there are two terraced stands behind the goals. Construction of the ground started in 1989 and finished in 1990, costing £2.8m overall.

BY RAIL

The journey from Exeter St Davids to Yeovil Junction should take approximately one hour or possibly a little more. It requires no changes as it is just a straight line from Exeter to Yeovil. Once at Yeovil junction, there is a lengthy 4.4-mile walk to the ground, which would take around one hour and a half. However, regular bus services run from the station on matchdays and taxis are also available.

PARKING

The away supporters car park is accessed via Gate A from the Lufton Way entrance. Car Parking costs £3 and is payable to the Steward on the gate. Coach Parking costs £15 which is again payable to the steward at the entrance. Coaches should enter through gate A on Lufton Way. Both car and coach parks are open from three hours before kick-off.

Children can play against each other on one of the games consoles inside the cabin or challenge each other to a match on the table football available.

PUBS/FOOD

There is a large marquee outside the ground that sells beer. However, at some games away fans are turned away from it.

There are a couple of pubs within a 10 to 15-minute walk from the ground by the names of The Arrow and the Airfield Tavern. Next to the Airfield Tavern is a fish and chip shop called Palmers. Inside the Arrow, SkyTv is shown for the viewing of the customers.

It also offers a large car park where you can leave your car during the match. To find this pub, from the ground car park, walk back up the road past the ground to the top of it and turn right. At the end of this road, turn left onto the main road and after a short distance take the first right.

Go straight down this road through the new looking residential area and after about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a clearing on your right and just beyond this there are some shops and the Arrow pub in the middle.

TOTAL DISTANCE

The distance between St James Park and Huish Park is 47.3 miles, taking between one hour and one hour and 20 minutes to drive.
