Exeter City fans will get the chance to meet the first team players when they take part in a cricket game in Teignmouth this evening (Monday, July 10).
The matches take place at Shaldon Optimists Cricket Club, starting at 4.30pm.
The Exeter City first team squad will be split into four cricket teams, with some members of Shaldon Optimists joining each of the sides.
Each team will play a semi-final match, of around 7-10 overs, with the two matches taking place at the same time.
The winners from both of those ties will then play a final, consisting of roughly 12 overs, with the losers of the semi-final ties contesting in a third/fourth play-off match.
The semi-final matches will start at 4.30pm, but fans are still encouraged to come down to Shaldon Optimist Cricket Club after they finish work as, even if they can’t make the start of games, they will still be able to see the final and the third/fourth play-off match later in the evening.
Plenty of the first team players will be in attendance and there will be a BBQ and a bar at the event.
