Extra competitive layer at Twerton Park
City's will contest for the Brian Lomax SD Cup against Bath City in pre-season on Friday, July 14.
Bath City recently became supporter-owned, meaning this match will see one of the country's oldest Trust-owned clubs playing the newest.
The match will be played for the Brian Lomax SD Cup, which will be presented in honour of Brian Lomax, considered the ‘father’ of the Supporter ownership model.
Elaine Davies of Exeter City Supporters Trust said: “We hope that as many Exeter City supporters as possible will be able to make the journey to Twerton Park on July 14 to support our team as they prepare for the 2017- 18 season
"The match will also prove an occasion to support Bath City, the latest club to adopt the supporter ownership model.”
At half-time, a penalty shoot-out competition between supporters of the two clubs is being planned.
The Brian Lomax SD Cup is an annual invitational competition organised by Supporters Direct (SD) and held between community-owned football clubs to celebrate the role fans play in owning and supporting their own football clubs.
Tickets for the match can be purchased on the turnstiles at Twerton Park.
The East Devon Grecians intend to run a coach at £10 per person.
Further details will be released soon.
