In typical Elaine Davis fashion, a significant part of the money has come back to the club
April’s big Foundation winner was none other than Elaine Davis. For those who don’t know, Elaine is on the Supporters Trust board as director, she also sits on the main club board as one of the supporters’ representatives, and does a phenomenal amount of voluntary work for the club in her various roles. So a deserved winner!
Elaine is pictured receiving her prize on the pitch before the recent match against Morecambe, together with Jude Masters, who was Junior Director under our ‘Kids in Charge’ initiative that took place that day.
Typically, a significant part of the money has already come back to the club, as she and husband Clive have purchased the original painting of the Old Grandstand. The rest of the money will go on replacing the old boiler and the promise of a few evenings out – especially, if City make it to Wembley or even League One!
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the club.
For just £10 per month, members are entitled to a range of prizes and, if a season ticket holder, the additional benefit of cash back or a voucher for the club shop. The City Foundation draw runs throughout the year, and overall there are sixty-seven prizes – of which sixty-four are cash prizes – all of which means that members have a GREAT chance of winning, all winners are Exeter City supporters and net proceeds go to good causes at the Club.
