Event to take place on Saturday, May 13
Exeter City is delighted to support Exeter Pride, an annual celebration for the LGBTQ+ communities and diversity within the city and surrounding areas, on Saturday, May 13
Pride 2017 is expected to be the biggest free celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and questioning (LGBTQ+) communities in Devon and is one of the first in the UK summer calendar of events.
The parade starts at 12pm from St Sidwell’s Community Centre in Sidwell Street and will make its way to Northernhay Gardens. A marketplace will be held in the gardens with refreshments, shops and a family zone.
Exeter City’s Football in the Community will have an inflatable target attraction at the event.
Exeter City is delighted to support Pride and to encourage fans to attend. The club and Supporters' Trust are longstanding supporters of Football v Homophobia and in February this year received an award recognising this work from the national campaign.
