Fans urged to plan journey to pick up points so cars are not illegally parked
Exeter City currently has 30 Grecian Travel coaches going to Wembley Stadium on Sunday for the play-off final.
If you are still looking to purchase a place on Grecian Travel you must do so by 5pm tomorrow (Thursday). The club will not be processing any more requests for travel up to Wembley on the coaches after this point.
The coaches will be leaving from the following departure points at 8.15am, apart from Taunton where a bus will depart at 9am.
Unit 1 Nightclub, Summerland Street, Exeter EX1 2AZ: Seven coaches
St James Park, Stadium Way, Exeter, EX4 6PX: Nine coaches
Met Office, Fitzroy Road, Exeter, EX1 3PB: Seven coaches
M5, Junction 28, Cullompton (at the services): Two coaches
M5, Junction 27, Tiverton (at the services): Three coaches
M5, Junction 25: Taunton (at the BP garage): One coach
Supporters should be advised, that despite the club’s best efforts, it is unable to provide parking at any of the six departure points above.
Fans are advised, just as if they were catching a train from St David’s station, that they research and plan their journeys to the pick-up points so they are not leaving cars illegally parked on Sunday morning. Any cars parked at the departure points are left there at the owner’s/driver’s risk.
The journey to Wembley Stadium will take approximately four hours.
Supporters should also speak to the coach driver/operator to find out the departure place and time from Wembley Stadium after the game has finished.
It is expected that the coaches will depart within an hour of the final whistle and it is the supporters’ responsibility to make sure they are in the right place in plenty of time to catch the coach back to Exeter.
We would also urge supporters to arrive at the departure points from Exeter to Wembley Stadium by 8am on Sunday morning as the coaches will be leaving promptly at 8.15am from all departure points, except Taunton where the coach will be leaving promptly at 9am.
