The Royal Foundation has launched Coach Core for young people who wish to gain further education and employment in sport.
Qualifications required:
You do not have to have previous experience of coaching the sport as full training and support will be given.
Vacancy description:
The Royal Foundation are working in partnership with Team Devon on their Coach Core programme. You will work towards your Activity Leadership Level 2 incorporating Active Leisure for Exercise Professionals.
This year 'Team Devon' will employ 20 young people who have the potential of becoming the future sports coach. They are inviting applications for 40 places at their recruitment event on 19th October.
Those who demonstrate commitment and a will to want to better themselves in this sports coaching programme will then be offered year-long employment working and training for 30 hours a week on Coach Core beginning November 2017.
Team Devon is made up of Exeter City Football Club, Plymouth Argyle Football Club, LED, Devon FA and Torquay United Football Club, Sportsway Management, Atlantic Racket Centre, Ivybridge Tennis, Young South West, South West Athletics, Joola Table Tennis Club, The Eldertree and Plymouth Raiders Basketball.
