Jamie Reid has left Exeter City to join Torquay United on a permanent basis, subject to Football League and FA approval.
The 23-year-old striker has been on loan at Torquay United for the past 15 months, helping the Gulls avoid relegation from the National League last season.
He has played 15 games for the Plainmoor-based club this campaign netting in their recent 4-0 win over Maidenhead.
Jamie is a popular figure at St James Park having netted twice on his full League Two debut away at AFC Wimbledon in 2013 and played crucial roles in the 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle and the 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the 2015/16 season.
However, his progress at St James Park was hampered by injury.
Everyone at St James Park wishes Jamie all the best for the future.
