Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale will be without nine first team players for today's trip to Mansfield Town, but has said 'it is a squad game'
The Grecians are without Pierce Sweeney, with food poisoning, Troy Archibald-Henville, Craig Woodman and Luke Croll who are all injured.
Meanwhile, Ryan Harley, Jordan Tillson and Lee Holmes are not fully fit and Ryan Brunt and Robbie Simpson remain long-term absentees.
That means City will start with a back four of Kane Wilson, making his first start for the club, Troy Brown, Jordan Moore-Taylor and Dean Moxey, with Jake Taylor, Hiram Boateng, Lloyd James and Kyle Edwards playing in midfield and Reuben Reid and Jayden Stockley starting up front.
The City boss added that he expects the players coming into the starting XI to perform to the required level and that there will be no excuses.
"Despite the unavailability of a number of key players we still have a very good team on the pitch," said Tis. "It is a squad game and we have the strength in depth to perform to the required level. No excuses."
