Ethan raises £186 for CITY Community Trust

Exeter City and CITY Community Trust would like to pass on their thanks to young Grecian supporter Ethan Duff who raised £186 for the charity by giving up chocolate for Lent.

Ethan, who regularly attends games at St James Park and was a mascot for the club’s home fixture against Coventry City this season, decided to give up chocolate for lent and raise money for a health and well-being charity in Exeter at the same time.

He contacted the club and after learning all about the excellent work CITY Community Trust do in getting Exeter and the surrounding area active he set up a Just Giving page to raise money for the charity and collected £186 which he presented to the club before the match with Cheltenham Town on April 2.

City goalkeeper Christy Pym presented Ethan with a signed football to say thank you. CITY Community Trust has also given Ethan an honorary year's membership to the Junior Grecians to say thank you.
