📝 Exeter City in Malawi

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the good news of Exeter City Football Club is confined to the UK.

There is a growing number of Malawi Grecians as the club continues to partner with St Peter's C of E School.

At the end of the academy season, players were encouraged to donate kit that would be given to young people living in the third poorest country in the world.

Shirts, shorts, socks and jackets were given to a young football team from Mtunthama in Malawi. This was the first kit the team had ever worn and they loved the famous red and white stripes.

Young striker Matthew (pictured below) said: “Exeter City is my new favourite team! I love the kit. Thank you so much!”

Sadly, Matthew wasn’t familiar with the current Exeter first team but he said that he’d now try to find out future results!
