This summer the team from the Grecian Archive and the Digital Humanities Lab at the University of Exeter have been updating the website to improve functionality and allow for the development of a whole host of new content.
One of the key exhibits for the new launch is the 'Stil' collection that features satirical cartoons produced by George 'Stil' Stillings, which document the world of the Grecians during the 1950’s and 1960’s.

The Archive now contains more than 3000 items related to the history and heritage of ECFC, including fan collections, former player collections, photography, film and article collections, and a summary of every player to have ever played for the club since it became Exeter City in 1904.
There is also a managers A to Z, which of course includes the new man at the helm, Matt Taylor.
The archive will continue to grow, thanks in large to the collaboration between Exeter City Football Club, the ECFC Supporters Trust, and the University of Exeter, alongside the funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which is supported by all the lottery players.
All of us at the archive would like to thank everyone who has supported its development, and hope that you enjoy the new design, as well as all of the wonderful content that the archive contains.
Should you wish to make any donations to the archive, or comment on any of its items, then please contact us via the contact form on the site, or drop an email to: historygroup@exetercityfc.co.uk.
