Exeter City will play Bristol Rovers away in the qualifying round of the Premier League Cup on Thursday, August 30, at 7pm.
The competition, which sees clubs under-23 sides compete, saw Exeter City impress last season as they beat Dagenham & Redbridge in the qualifying round before topping a group that included Brighton Hove Albion, Hull City and Sunderland.
The Grecians eventually lost on penalties in the last 16 stage to Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, it gave valuable experience to young players in the squad, such a Jordan Storey who went on to impress in the latter stages of the League Two season before joining Championship side Preston North End in the summer.
Cityβs qualifying match will take place at the Memorial Stadium on Thursday, August 30, with kick-off at 7pm.
Admission is pay on the day with:
- Adults: Β£5
- Under-16s: Β£1
