Rob Edwards wrote himself into Grecian history by scoring the goal that regained City's football league status at Wembley Stadium in May 2008.
Edwards struck in the 22nd minute when Matt Taylor flicked on Dean Moxey’s corner and the veteran powered home his header at the back post. It was only his second goal of the season and the most important strike of his City career.
The passionate win against Cambridge at Wembley in 2008 was further improved as the Grecians earned back to back promotions.
