Aged 15-17? Fancy yourself as the next Futsal superstar?
Exeter City Community Trust Futsal Academy are holding an open event at Exeter College Sports Hall on Friday, February 16 which will allow you to gain a more in depth experience of what the Futsal Academy BTEC has to offer and to participate in a training session.
This event takes place between 9:45am and 2pm and is FREE to attend, all that is required is that you arrive with a change of kit, some indoor sports shoes (NO BLACK SOLE SHOES) and food for your break. Changing facilities are provided in the building next to the sports hall.
The Exeter City FC Futsal BTEC Academy runs level 2 and level 3 qualifications, in affiliation with Exeter College.
The team plays in South West Regional League, and they train 3 times a week alongside studying for the BTEC qualification. The futsal side has reached the national finals twice, coming second to Peterborough United last year, and are considered to be a top Futsal side, one of the best in the country.
Parents and guardians are welcome to attend too, and they can stay and watch the whole of the open event, with seating provided in the sports hall and a viewing area on the first floor of the building.
