"You hear your Dad and Grandad talk about the FA Cup - it's a special competition." - Lee Holmes
On Saturday, Exeter City will take their second crack at the Emirates FA Cup third round in three years, against Premier League oppositon in Alan Pardew's West Brom.
City's run to the third round has not be plain sailing. The Grecians overcame a spirited performance from underdogs Heybridge Swifts in the first round, which set up a second round tie at Forest Green Rovers.
This match did not disappoint, a barnstorming 3-3 draw which saw the lead exchanged three times and three goals in the last six minutes.
The replay at St James Park turned into a classic. Two red cards, two penalties, extra-time and a late late Jayden Stockley header, broke the hearts of the Green Devils and set up Saturday's clash with West Brom.
As Ryan Harley stated earlier in the week: "We've got nothing to lose so we will hit it and see where it takes us."
The match is currently sold out*, and a great atmosphere expected, with details on Red Legion's display to follow.
The magic of the FA Cup lives on.
