Exeter City Supporters Trust’s Neil Le Milliere has issued the following information with regards to the Trust draw for tickets for the Community Shield on Sunday, August 5, at 3pm.
Neil Le Milliere, writes: “We are awaiting confirmation that we will be receiving four tickets (two pairs) for this year’s sell-out Community Shield match at Wembley on Sunday 5 August.
Both pairs may be available for Trust members to buy but one pair definitely will. Due to time constraints the draw will only be open for a very short period and applications will need to be received in advance of the availability (and draw) being confirmed, so by noon on Monday, July 30.
Premier League champions Manchester City meet Emirates FA Cup winners Chelsea in the season’s traditional curtain-raiser at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 5 August.
There will be one pair of tickets in the Manchester City section and one pair in the Chelsea section, anyone attending would be required to wear neutral clothing or colours appropriate for the section they are in. Ticket prices last year were £35 each so £70 for a pair. The advertised prices this year are £45, £35, £25 and £20 so I suspect ours will again be £35 but that will be confirmed.
As is usual we will be doing a draw amongst Trust members for the right to buy these tickets as a pair.
To get your name in the draw for these tickets (bearing in mind that there is a faint chance we may not receive them) please follow the instructions below and submit all details required. The draw will take place Monday 30 afternoon or evening with confirmation of the winners the following day or evening.
