Due to the ongoing redevelopment at St James Park the capacity of the Thatchers Big Bank will be reduced to 2,640 for the first game of the season against Carlisle United.
A bumper crowd is already expected to turn up for the game on Saturday, August 4, which is Matt Taylor's first competitive match in charge of the Grecians.
There are only a limited number of seats in the IP Office Stand left for the match and with the normal capacity of the Thatchers Big Bank, which stands at 3,960, reduced by more than a 1,000, there is every chance the match could sell-out in advance, meaning there would be no way to purchase tickets for the game on the day.
The restriction is in place due to the current reduced numbers of turnstiles, toilet facilities and exits which all contribute to how many people can safely be in that area.
Buying a ticket in advance enables you to save money and avoid queues should there still be tickets available on the day.
You can buy your tickets by ringing 01392 411243, visiting the club shop in person during normal office hours or going online and clicking here. Online purchase can also be picked up or posted out ahead of Saturday, August 4 to help you avoid queues on the day.
It is hoped that the capacity for the Thatchers Big Bank will only be restricted for the opening game of the season as work on the redevelopment of the stadium is going well. However, Exeter City will inform fans of any updates as and when we have them.
Thank you for your understanding.
