City Community Trust have retained the Angie Ellicott memorial skittles trophy in a hard-fought contest with the Senior Reds.
The skittles tournament was designed to bring club employees and personnel closer together through activities held outside working hours. Angie Ellicott was a regular at St James Park for a number of years and was a vital part of the Exeter City Football Club community.
In the final the Exeter Community Trust A team narrowly beat Senior Reds B team by 2 pins.
The Senior Reds had trailed by 13 pins but had fought back to lead going into the last leg.
Led by captain Ben Watson, the Community Trust team posted 45 in the last leg which was just too much for the Senior Reds.
Ben Watson collected the trophy on behalf of his team. Many thanks to all who took part in this year’s competition.
