Exeter City skipper Jordan Moore-Taylor's strike against Crewe Alexandra has been voted YOUR Vospers' goal of the month for February.
City looked like heading to a 1-0 defeat away at Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday, February 20, after Shaun Miller turned the ball in from close range on 88 minutes. However, City hit back and levelled after a corner was kept alive in injury time by Craig Woodman and Jordan Moore-Taylor pounced in a crowded penalty area to fire in left-footed.
The strike was crucial to City's season, and was even more important after Jayden Stockley headed home, three minutes later, to give City a remarkable victory.
JMT's strike took just over 50 per cent of the votes, with Jayden's header at Crewe in second, taking 30 per cent of the votes.
Speaking about the importance of the goal after the win, City manager Paul Tisdale described the strike as his 'goal of the season' so far.
He said: "It was so needed, and the way he took it in and fought off two or three players to score. It was a goal of will and determination."
