Exeter City welcome Notts County to St James Park in Sky Bet League Two in a 3pm kick-off as the Grecians look to get back to winning ways.
Matt Taylor’s side come into the game following two successive defeats in the league, but they turned out a positive performance in the Checkatrade Trophy away at Yeovil Town in midweek.
On Saturday’s encounter, manager Matt Taylor said: “We had a game on Tuesday, so training is always slightly tapered when there is a midweek game. The players that played on Tuesday night got minutes under belt and their distances were excellent, so we are looking forward to this weekend.
“They’ve (Notts County) had a change of manager and he’s had a week to work with his squad, so he’ll still be assessing his group and working to get the best out of that group. It’s always difficult playing against a team with a new manager because you don’t quite know what to prepare for. They may change shape, formation or personnel so we have to be prepared for everything.
“The group are hungry to bounce back following the Lincoln game.”
WHEN WE LAST MET
The sides last met at Meadow Lane back in January with both pushing to try and achieve promotion from Sky Bet League Two. In a strong performance from the Grecians they ran out 2-1 winners with goals from Jake Taylor and Jayden Stockley.
