🗓 Dates for City's Premier League Cup games announced

The dates for Exeter City’s fixtures in the Premier League Cup have been announced.

The Premier League Cup is a competition where clubs under-23s sides compete in a Champions League-style format. 

City impressed last season topping a group that included Brighton Hove Albion, Hull City and Sunderland before losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers, on penalties, at the quarter-final stage. 

City’s under-23s qualified for the group stage of the competition this season with a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers on August 30 and will now play under-23 teams from Norwich City, Leicester City and Nottingham Forest home and away. 

The dates for Exeter City’s fixtures are as follows:

Sunday, October 7 (2pm): Nottingham Forest (A)
Thursday, November 8 (7pm): Norwich City (H)
Monday, December 3 (7pm): Leicester City (A)
Monday, January 21 (7pm): Nottingham Forest (H)
Monday, February 11 (7pm): Norwich City (A)
Monday, February 25 (7pm): Leicester City (H)

All of City’s home games will be played at St James Park, with ticket details to be announced.
