'One of our own' Matt Jay has been rewarded with YOUR player of the month and goal of the month for March.
The Academy product's stunning strike in a 3-0 win over Colchester United on Saturday, March 16, picked up the Vospers' goal of the month award.
A minute before half-time, Kane Wilson propelled a long ball forwards, and Ryan Bowman somehow held off two defenders, and the ball dropped to Matt Jay, who hit a spectacular volley that curled away from Rene Gilmartin and into the top-left corner.
The strike was Matt's first league goal in front of the Big Bank at SJP and the delight of the whole team was clear to see in the celebrations.
This is the second successive goal of the month award for Matt after last month's stunning free-kick against Lincoln City picked up February's award.

Matt has also been voted YOUR Hawksmoor Investment Management player of the month for March with 75 per cent of the votes.
A string of impressive performances have cemented the 23-year-old's place in the first team in recent weeks. Matt has started in the last seven matches, and scored four goals and registered an assist.
