The home semi-final play-off match for the team finishing 7th in Sky Bet League Two will take place at 7.45pm on Thursday, May 9 and, SHOULD we be fortunate enough to qualify, it is more than likely that this will be the date of our fixture, with a sixth place finish difficult to achieve.
Given that the outcome wonβt be clear until around 5pm this Saturday, May 4, there is an incredibly short space of time between then and the potential match five days later. With a Bank Holiday Monday added in as well, the club simply has to be ready with plans for ticket sales and collections.
Assuming we do qualify and play on the Thursday evening, the time constraints will mean that tickets for this home leg cannot be posted, giving us a huge extra capacity challenge in distributing all of the tickets likely to be ordered for collection.
The club will then issue updates throughout the week about all of the opportunities for you to purchase tickets online, in person and over the phone, and what the priority periods would be. They will be short.
It will be strongly recommend that tickets be purchased online and collected from SJP before match day and specially extended opening hours will be in place to accommodate those who cannot collect during normal hours. These are shown below.
With the match being a play-off semi-final, at this stage, we don't anticipate cash sales being available at the Thatchers Big Bank turnstiles on the night, so you should act early to ensure youβll be at the match.
TICKET BOOTH OPENING HOURS
- Sunday, May 5: 10am - 4pm
- Monday, May 6: 10am - 4pm (Bank Holiday Monday)
- Tuesday, May 7: 9am - 8pm
- Wednesday, May 8: 9am - 8pm
- Thursday, May 9 (Matchday arrangements TBC)
We would reccomend you make every possible effort to collect your tickets before the evening of the game. If not you would risk missing part of the match.
The club will allow you to arrange for someone else to collect tickets on your behalf if you are unable to do so. If you cannot collect in advance and must do so on match day itself, please arrive as early as you possibly can as ticket queues are likely to be much larger than usual and, as stated, you may miss the start of the game.
Further and more in depth details will follow if the team qualifies for the play-offs. Please be prepared to take advantage of the special opening hours we will have in place and do not leave it to the last minute.
