Exeter City and Exeter City Supporters' Trust were saddened to learn of the news that former player Derek Grace died at the age of 74.
Originally an apprentice with Queenβs Park Rangers, it was Exeter City who gave him his first full professional contract, when they signed him on a free transfer in May 1962.
Derek played a major part in the club's first promotion success of 1963-64, as he scored four goals in 32 starts.
Derek moved to South Africa and died in Cape Town, earlier this year, our condolences go to his family and loved ones.
Forever a Grecian.
