Exeter City defender Dean Moxey said the players are disappointed with their performance against Hartlepool United in the Emirates FA Cup second round.
The Grecians were leading 2-0, thanks to goals from Ryan Bowman and Nigel Atangana, but conceded two goals in the final 20 minutes of the match to ending up drawing.
βIt is not good enough really,β said Dean. βTo go 2-0 up at home to a lower league team, you should be seeing the game off and winning, so we are disappointed.
βIt was 30 odd seconds after we missed a chance up this end, for them to go and score a great goal for them. However, we are just really disappointed with how we played and we will have to go to their place now and win.β
Asked if he could take any positives out of the way the team played, particularly first half, Dean added: βIt is hard to look back on that game and take too much from it, but we are still in the hat and we have got a chance to go to their place and win.
βWe want to be in the third round so we have got to go there and play better than we did today.β
